”Motorists burn extra fuel taking circuitous routes I could safely cross to ballet school and church halls where, at 10, I saw Joe Cocker. I still support local music: RiciaBHC Youtube shorts.”
Post Notre Dame High School, Ricia graduated from Leeds University and taught at Shirecliffe College before going to Petroleum Development Oman where she became Ricia: Arabic for feather.”
Then in Boston Mass. she gained an MA while working as a journalist, leading to Economist Newspaper Ltd assignments overseas making her very conscious of what draws and deters investment.
“To pay for all its residents demand and politicians promise to win votes, Sheffield must be more enterprise-friendly to increase productivity per capita and ensure resources aren’t wasted. Cities need those who understand this at the helm. Lenders say no as risks of defaulting rise.”
A local live music supporting landlady agrees: “Sheffield must be run like a good pub, keeping customers happy but turning a profit, otherwise there’s no money for staff.”
