Abdullah Okud is a community organiser, youth worker, trade unionist, philanthropist, and lifelong Burngreave resident. He grew up here, works here, and fights here.

With over 10 years of experience from the civil service to the voluntary sector—Abdullah has dedicated his life to serving people, helping organisations secure funding, empowering young people, and building stronger communities.

From organising Black Lives Matter protests in Sheffield to standing for Palestine and Sudan, Abdullah has never backed down from the struggle for justice. He has supported local youth clubs, grassroots football, litter campaigns, and community initiatives because real change starts on our streets.

Burngreave has been neglected for too long. Abdullah is standing as an Independent, backed by YourParty, the Muslim Vote, Vote Palestine Campaign to fight for investment, opportunity, and dignity for our people.
