Statement to voters
Just a little about me, I'm a working-class lorry driver who clocks up 50 to 60 hours a week behind the wheel to provide for my other half and our soon-to-be newborn son.
Full statement
My priorities have always been simple: my family, my faith, and my country.
I’m deeply worried about the way things are going. Our community and our country feel like they’re slipping. Antisocial behaviour is everywhere - kids hanging around causing trouble, shoplifting treated like it’s no big deal, and vehicle theft along with illegal motorcycles tearing around our streets night after night. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of it. At the same time, our council tax goes up every single year, yet we see no extra police on the beat, no cleaner streets, and no real help for the problems that matter most to ordinary families.
That’s why I’ve decided to stand as an independent candidate for the local councillor position in Park & Arbourthorne. I don’t have fancy degrees or political connections - just a strong sense that enough is enough. I want to see if someone who actually lives and works here can make a difference and improve the quality of life for all of us. We deserve to feel safe in our homes and in our community.
If I’m elected, I will work flat out to turn things around. No empty promises - just honest, determined action to tackle the crime, cut the waste, and put local people first again.
