Statement to voters
I have lived in Newcastle all my adult life and as an experienced NHS doctor, I've witnessed the NHS increasingly struggle to provide quality healthcare for all due to the actions of people who place their own personal gain over everyone and everything else.

All public services and the UK population have suffered similarly.
The people of Newcastle and the Green Party believe in fairness. We'll work hard to provide affordable living, great employment opportunities, attentive public services, better transport options and shared public spaces for us all to enjoy. We will ensure city contracts go to responsible local businesses and communities to support local people rather than going offshore to tax havens.
We achieve all this by working together and not by blaming the most vulnerable in society. Your vote for the Green Party is a vote for hope in a new beginning for our city and our country.
