My children attend nursery and primary school locally, and we often spend weekends in Oakwood Park. Like many families here, I care deeply about keeping our area safe, green, and supportive of local communities and businesses.

As a working mum in professional services, I solve problems every day to help people and organisations perform at their best. Locally, I see where the system isn’t working as it should. Neighbours and residents tell me about burglary and car theft, missed bin collections, dangerous potholes, overgrown verges, and how hard it can be to get a timely response from the Council when something goes wrong. These are everyday issues which affect our daily lives.

I’m standing for the Green Party because I believe that we need a fairer, more community-focused approach in Oakwood and across the Enfield borough. As your councillor, I will focus on practical action: working with residents and police to improve safety, holding the council to account on basic services, improving road safety and travel connections, protecting and enhancing our green spaces, opposing the proposed 'new town' developments impacting Crews Hill and Vicarage Farm, and ensuring local people have a real voice in planning decisions.

Most importantly, I will be visible, responsive, and accountable, because I believe that local councillors should work for the communities and local residents that they serve.

Oakwood is a wonderful place to live. Vote Green on 7th May to put our community first and protect what matters the most.
