Hello, I’m Robert King, and I am standing for the Green Party of England and Wales as your local councillor in the ward of Hopwood Hall.

Growing up and working in this area has shown me how deeply I care about the future of our community. Like so many of us, I want to see a council that listens to its residents, invests in our neighbourhoods, and puts people before politics.

I am standing because I truly believe that local people deserve a stronger voice and better representation on our council.

If elected, I will focus on:

– Protecting and improving our local green spaces and environment.

– Standing up for safer, cleaner streets and stronger local services.

– Making sure ordinary people in Hopwood Hall have a real say in the decisions that affect their lives.

I wholeheartedly believe that a council should be open, accountable, and accessible. This is why I will hold regular surgeries for residents to speak directly to me about the issues that matter to them.

On 7 May 2026, I ask for your vote so that Hopwood Hall can have a better future for all of us.
