Like many people, I’ve reached my limit! The pressures we’re facing – such as cost of living, housing shortages, and inequality – keep growing, while the things we rely on – like local services, safe and adequate housing, clean air – aren’t getting the attention they need.

We all deserve better, and this is especially true for the people in Notting Dale. The Notting Dale community has incredible diversity, culture, and resilience – but it also faces real challenges, from the injustice of Grenfell to high climate risk.

It’s time that Notting Dale sees positive change. But change doesn’t work when it’s done TO a community. Instead, it has to be WITH them – and this will shape my approach as your Green councillor.

I will stand up for your concerns and make sure they’re dealt with. I will listen, be visible and accessible, and give residents the chance to SHAPE decisions, not just respond to them. I’ll fight for better housing, improved local services, accountability from the council, and a better quality of life for everyone.

As for me personally, I’m a lifelong West Londoner with Arab heritage. I’m a fierce campaigner for LGBTQIA+ rights, environmental action, social and economic justice, and an end to the suffering in Palestine, Congo, and Sudan. That’s why I’ve chosen to stand with the Green Party – because they are THE party standing up for fairness, equality, and a kinder, better future for everyone.
