Dr Eva Johanna Holmberg lives in Littlehampton with her husband and her senior bunny Ned.

A Finnish historian of early modern Britain, mobility and migration, Eva Johanna is a passionate defender of human rights, equality, and the environment.
As a county councillor, she would secure more funding for adult social care and cost of living support to tackle anti-social behaviour and homelessness, and to fight for our schools, SEND provision, libraries, and museums. All this would build our resilience and support the positive changes already under way in Littlehampton.
When the conservative government tried to remove 117 legally residing EU citizens from the UK in 2017, including Dr Holmberg, she was the leader in bringing this to the attention of the media, forcing a U-turn and an apology from Theresa May. This is the ‘eldest daughter’ energy she brings into anything she does.
