Statement to voters

Living in Yorkshire all my life, settling in New Mill for its community spirit. As a mother
and grandmother, I am no career politician. I believe we need common sense to bring
change before our community is destroyed by politicians who simply don't listen.
I truly understand the financial squeeze on households today. Good housekeeping is
essential; our money must be spent wisely, not on unrealistic vanity projects. I will
prioritise efficiency to ensure every penny works harder for our families. It is time for a
representative who understands that money is hard-earned. “I am that person”
