I’m married with two grown-up daughters and now live in Leatherhead. I have now retired after thirty years in the oil industry working in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
The whole country is demonstrably riddled with waste and incompetence and, after 60 years of pretty much uninterrupted control by the Conservatives, the hitherto one-party state which is Surrey is no exception. The establishment parties will tell you that Reform candidates lack experience. What they do not tell you is that their definition of experience is year after year of repeated failure to provide decent basic services and represent the interests of council-tax payers.
