Full statement
Please use all three votes to elect 3 hard-working Labour councillors in Henley who will put our community and City first.
Neil Rider has lived in Coventry all of his life and is proud to join Labour Councillors Patricia Seaman and Ed Ruane as one of the 3 Labour candidates in Henley. We have been seeking your views including how the £100,000 ‘Pride of Place’ Funding allocated by the Labour Government for the Henley Ward should be spent in the next year. We know from talking to residents and through surgeries and door knocking that anti-social behaviour potholes, the cost of living and fly tipping are the key concerns for local people in Henley.
Current campaigns include.
• The lack of play areas for our young children – we are lobbying the council, developers and housing companies
• Parking issues – congestion causes concerns about emergency services access as well as local parking. Your Labour team are seeking extended resident parking schemes
• The increase in fly tipping – ensuring speedy council and police responsesPlease use all 3 votes for your Labour Team in Henley
