I have been campaigning for safer, cleaner streets in Newham as a Green Party candidate for Forest Gate South.

I have attended council meetings and demanded that Newham Council does more to address social issues in the burrough; I've spoken to hundreds of residents on their doorsteps and the message is that there is too much crime on the streets. I've met with drug addiction charities and asked them how we can help. They asked if we could share our survey data with them so I've done that; this will mean they can target help where it's needed and improve the lives of drug addicts, reducing crime.

I am a consultant paediatrician. I have worked all accross London from Newham Hospital to Great Ormond Street Hospital. I've been involved in charitable work all over the world. What drives me is to help people that need it, whether they are suffering from physical illness, mental illness or a lack of resources.

I am standing in close partnership with my fellow Green candidates, Zahra Kheyre and Arshan Baskaran. Together we bring all our energy, creativity and passion to help Forest Gate South and Newham to be a fantastic place for my children and yours to grow up in.
