After living in Twickenham, Norfolk and Sydney (Aus) Claygate has really stood out as a fantastic place to live offering the perfect blend of a village feel with immediate access to our great capital city.
This proximity does though present challenges to the residents of Claygate, Esher and Oxshott. Something that stood out when I first moved here was the persistent issue of fly-tipping in and around the area. It is unacceptable, and I will push for stronger enforcement, better reporting systems, and real accountability.
I will also apply sustained pressure to ensure a significant improvement in the upkeep of our local roads. Residents deserve safe, well-maintained streets, not patchwork fixes.
Claygate, Esher and Oxshott deserves action, not excuses and that’s exactly what I’m here to deliver.
Through my work as a contract manager in the housing sector, I understand the real, everyday challenges our communities face particularly in the face of unsustainable, irresponsible development by adjacent London Boroughs.
I am standing for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as I really do believe they are the only party that offer thought out, considered solutions to the problems Britain faces today. I urge anybody reading this to take a minute and check out the SDP website.
If like me you have become disillusioned with the offerings from the status quo then the SDP may just be the party for you.
