I’m a Rochdalian, a homeowner in the ward, a father of three, and a teacher who has supported local young people for over 20 years. I care deeply about this community, as it has done so much for me and my family — and I know how much more it could be.

Because right now, too many people feel let down — after years of austerity, poor decision-making, and divisive politics that put parties before people.

For years, we’ve seen the same problems — roads not fixed, antisocial behaviour brushed aside, rising costs hitting families hard, and decisions made without properly listening to residents.

The local council has had years to get this right. Others shout loudly but offer little that improves daily life.

You deserve better.

I’m standing to offer something different: honest, practical leadership that puts residents first.

If elected, I will:

1. Be a visible, accessible councillor who listens and acts
2. Tackle antisocial behaviour and make our streets safer
3. Fix roads, traffic and parking problems properly
4. Support families through the cost of living crisis
5. Protect green spaces and take action on the Turner Brothers site
6. Bring real transparency and accountability to the council

No empty promises. No excuses. No division. Just action — as one ward.

Across Greater Manchester, the Green Party is winning — in places like Gorton & Denton, and local by-elections — because people want something better.

We are a breath of fresh air — and a real alternative.
