I spent over twenty years in corporate Scotland across the energy, food manufacturing, luxury goods and IT sectors in various senior management positions, before deciding to re-focus on a career that puts people first.

That decision was heavily influenced by my working-class background and upbringing, which has always stayed with me.
I’m standing as Your Party's first-ever candidate in Scotland, right here in Avondale and Stonehouse. This is an honour and a privilege, as I live in South Lanarkshire with my young family and want to keep representation local, keep you at the centre of decisions made and make sure our community is listened to.
We need a Councillor who holds the Council and developers accountable, who makes sure growth pays for itself, and who fights for the investment our community was promised and never got.
We have a real chance to make history on 17th September.
