Statement to voters
Anne is Bishopstoke’s longest serving councillor, and the only councillor to have served on Bishopstoke Parish Council since it was created in 1996. A former Deputy Leader of the Borough Council and Cabinet Member for Social Policy, Anne has campaigned for traffic relief on Bishopstoke Road and secured land at Stoke Common Park for public access after its earlier allocation for housing. Anne has been Chair of Bishopstoke Parish Council and also Chair of the County Parish Council Association. She is also involved in several charities and community organisations providing advice, assistance and community facilities where needed.
