I have been a tireless, independent voice for local people - delivering real results, standing up to party politics, and delivering on issues that matter most to our communities.

I have a deep understanding of our communities, having lived in Easington Colliery for 15 years, before moving to Haswell 5 years ago, I appreciate that each community has its own unique set of challenges.
This by-election isn’t about empty slogans - it’s about who you can rely on - who has a proven track record of being visible and most importantly, contactable.
I have always been there for you - and will continue to be.
Vote Chris Hood - Independent.
Because County Durham deserves better.
