Statement to voters
Building houses in Trent Park, on Vicarage Farm and in Crews Hill will despoil our precious Green Belt while failing to provide the types of affordable housing that is desperately needed. Green councillors will push for a housebuilding policy that puts the council firmly in the driving seat, building new housing quickly and in locations and ways that are environmentally sustainable and will not add further traffic problems. Our focus will be on the wellbeing of people and planet, not on developers' bottom line.
