Statement to voters
I am standing to be your County Councillor because Acle needs strong, competent representation that delivers results, not more talk.
Full statement
I bring over 30 years’ experience in operational delivery across the private sector and the NHS, focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and making services work properly. I am the co-founder of a telecoms software business that exports globally, which I have helped run for the past decade. That experience means I understand how to get things done, control spending, and deliver real value.
Locally, I have served as a Broadland District Councillor, where I chaired the Service Improvement and Efficiency Committee and served as Vice Chair of Licensing. I know how councils operate, where money is wasted, and how to challenge it effectively.
Until recently, I served as a magistrate for seven years, including as a Presiding Justice. I stepped down in 2025 so I could speak more openly about the challenges facing our justice system and the need for practical reform. I also served in the infantry of the Territorial Army, which instilled in me discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of duty.
Alongside this, I founded the first NGO in south-east Botswana focused on improving children’s access to education and healthcare.
If elected, I will:
- Drive efficiency and value for money at County Hall
- Challenge wasteful spending and poor decision-making
- Be a strong, visible voice for local residents
- Hold leadership and officers properly to account
I have lived locally in Blofield for 11 years, and understand the issues that matter to our community.
This election is a clear choice. In Acle, it is Reform or Green. You can vote for more soft talk, or you can vote for someone with a proven track record of delivery, who will stand up, challenge the system, and get things done.
