Statement to voters
I am writing to ask that you use your vote to help elect me as your next Breckland Councillor.
Full statement
I have greatly enjoyed speaking with many residents over the past few weeks during this campaign. If we have not already spoken, please do use the contact details provided to get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
It is clear from our many conversations that this is a contest between myself and the Reform candidate. The Liberal Democrat and Conservative candidates clearly cannot win. The Greens haven't even put forward a candidate at all. Please consider lending me your vote at this election to stop Reform.
For decades I have taught in nearby schools and most recently worked as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. This has been a very fulfilling but demanding role. I have seen up close the many challenges families face, and I want to use my experiences to advocate on behalf of local people.
As a working mother I am proud to have raised my two children in Norfolk, with both going to state schools. I am also a volunteer for a food hub, seeing the everyday struggles that face far too many.
Having lived and worked in this area for over 30 years, I have now put myself forward to become your Breckland Council representative.
I want to be a Councillor who will focus on YOU.
Working to improve your quality of life and supporting the wider community.
I know I can do this role well and I hope I can count on your support at this election.
