Statement to voters
I am standing in the upcoming by-election for the Thanet Villages ward on Thanet District Council.

I have fond memories from over the years attending different events, supporting our brilliant local businesses and helping residents from across Thanet villages. Thanet is a place where I love to live and I served the area as a councillor between 2015 and 2023. During that time, I sat on most committees, worked within a variety of cabinet portfolios and, from June 2021 to May 2023, held the post as Leader of the Council. If elected at this by-election, I would be delighted to represent and work on behalf of the residents and businesses of the ward using my knowledge and experience gained in local government.
If I become your ward councillor, the community will be of utmost importance and I would very much enjoy working with all the Parish Councils and residents across the ward to ensure that you have a strong voice representing you at all levels.
