Conservative activist since the 70’s, family and work commitments prevented me from standing as a serious candidate, until 2021 when I was elected as the Conservative candidate in Church Hill until 2024.
Whilst in office, I championed several campaigns with local resident committees , I was vehemently against development of the Dagnell End Lane/golf course etc. and helped hold Kaug to account.
I managed to help residents awaiting for home improvements, ASB issues, void properties and got the CH centre car park (privately owned) resurfaced, after negotiations with the County Council Rickyard Lane, was resurfaced.
I am approachable, sincere and these days you will find me volunteering for a couple of local charities and head cook at St.Andrews coffee shop. I am always willing to listen and hold the powers that be to account on your behalf.
I am ambitious for North Ward (previously Church Hill) and the community. It’s where I live. and if you honour me with your vote on May 7th, I pledge I will work hard for you and our community and be your voice steering us through the planned devolution. The town needs experienced people to head the most important decision ever to face Redditch in the forthcoming months. That’s why I sincerely hope you use your vote with vision and vote for who you think is the best candidate to fulfil this role, and leave national politics aside until the general election 2029.
