Statement to voters

I have been selected to stand for Immanuel Ward in Oswaldtwistle in this May's Hyndburn Borough Council elections.

Full statement

But who I am as a person is quite simple.

I’m a husband and a father of 3, born and raised in Oswaldtwistle, it’s where I live and where I’m bringing up my family.

In the May local elections, you will decide who you think will be the best councillor for our town. That’s why I am putting myself forward again to represent my hometown.

In my 5 years as a councillor for Oswaldtwistle, I have always put residents first;

•Played an active role in the fight against the cemetary proposal.

•Worked closely with residents to oppose planning applications in our town.

•Worked tirelessly with the former owners to secure an investment into the derelict Rhyddings Mill site now a Home Bargains store and a new housing estate on Stonebridge lane.

•Help keep Oswaldtwistle clean and tidy by regularly litter picking with my son Oliver.

•Led the campaign to get Article 4 direction for HMOs implemented across the whole of Hyndburn.

•Fighting for democracy for residents when Labour and others wanted to cancel the elections.

and much more !!!!

Everybody knows how hard I work for residents on a daily basis as a councillor in Oswaldtwistle.
