Representing the people of Eccles as your Labour Councillor over the past five years has been the privilege of my life.

I'm proud to once again stand to represent the community I was raised in as your Labour candidate.

During this time, I have worked to deliver major regeneration for Eccles. I will continue to ensure residents' voices shape our plans as we develop a masterplan to transform our town, creating a vibrant centre, improving green spaces, and protecting our historic buildings.

We have already begun, with investment in the Town Hall and restoration of the Carnegie Library at the Gateway. I remain committed to making Eccles a better place for everyone.

I have also supported local community groups, especially those helping older residents, through fundraising and volunteering at events such as Eccles VIP activities and the Ellesmere Park Estate Supper Club.

My experience as an academic, trade union representative with GB and UCU, and trustee for local charities has strengthened my ability to stand up for local people.

Over the next four years, I will focus on a greener Eccles, safer communities, stronger local groups, tackling fly-tipping, and improving our roads.
