Full statement
I am
A Governor at a Chester-le-Street Primary School and care deeply about children getting a really good start in life. Having worked as an Officer of Durham County Council in the past I have a deep understanding of how to access and make best use of the Council's resources for the benefit of our residents. I am absolutely solution-focussed and will always seek positive outcomes to any problems or issues identified. I will always respond and be proactive for residents when they contact me or ask me for help. I will always take time to meet people face to face so that residents can get to know me and so they know how approachable I am. I will always be positive and respectful - I will not engage with negativity on Social Media - it can get toxic and does more harm than good! I will work hard for residents of Chester-le-Street because I believe it is was they are entitled to and should expect from their elected representative.
