Full statement
This is your chance to vote for positive change where we live. So why not vote for someone who lives in Levenshulme, loves Levenshulme and listens to you?
I have lived here for over 20 years. Help me challenge the current council complacency so we can make Levenshulme better together. I’m tired of broken promises from Labour. Every year fly-tipping and litter and dumped cars get worse. We see this every day as residents. Labour councillors only see it when they visit the area.We need housing people can afford to sustain our community. Labour supports the destruction of loved green space like our Secret Lakes and leaves sites that should be used for housing vacant and derelict. We were told funding for station access had been secured but it never happened. It is community action and pressure that will get us improvements, not Labour’s broken promises.
We live with the problems Labour has failed to solve. Levenshulme deserves better. I am here to deal with your problems locally.
