I'm standing for re-election for Wiltshire Council because I care about community values and I genuinely enjoy helping people.

I've worked hard for our community over the last four years - supporting local businesses, championing the arts, advocating for youth services, working with housing association tenants to get maintenence issues resolved, challenging poor planning applications, and tackling the everyday issues that matter to you.

I'm particularly proud to have Co-Chaired the Local Youth Network with my Lib Dem colleague Cllr Kathryn Macdermid which launched the first ‘Teen Takeover’ weekend in Chippenham. Last April, this event saw over 400 young people take part in free activities and workshops covering the arts, music, comedy, sports and more.

But there is still more work to do.

🔶️ I'll continue to advocate for our High Street, pushing for a redevelopment of Emery Gate that supports our existing businesses, whilst creating opportunities for new retail and leisure offerings that enhance our town.

🔶️ I’m committed to delivering another Teen Takeover Weekend, giving young people more opportunities to engage and feel valued in our community

🔶️ I’ll keep pushing for road repairs and vital improvements to road safety, working with the Council to make our streets safer for everyone

🔶️ I’ll continue to promote the arts and support local events, celebrating the creativity, diversity and talent in our community

🔶️ I'll keep following-up on the local issues you raise, from blocked drains, and speeding, to fly-tipping and faded road markings.

Chippenham deserves councillors who will show up, listen, and work hard for its residents. That’s what I’ve done, and what I’ll continue to do, if I’m re-elected.
