Statement to voters

Cllr Patrick Kadewere – Labour Candidate | Huntingdon North
Cllr Patrick Kadewere is a dedicated community leader who has proudly served Huntingdon since 2010 as a Town Councillor and since 2012 as a District Councillor for Huntingdon North.

Full statement

He currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Huntingdon (2025–2026), representing the town at civic events and championing community unity.
Patrick has built a reputation for being a hands-on, results-driven councillor, focused on delivering real improvements for residents. His work has included campaigning for better road conditions and accountability on highways, securing long-overdue footpath resurfacing, supporting housing cases, and strengthening partnerships that help residents through the cost-of-living crisis.
Beyond the Council, Patrick is deeply embedded in the community. He leads the Oxmoor Community Fridge initiative, helping reduce food waste while supporting families, and works closely with local organisations, faith groups, and charities to bring people together. He is also actively involved in youth development through his work with Police Cadets, helping to guide and inspire the next generation.
Professionally experienced outside politics, Patrick brings practical understanding, compassion, and strong leadership to his role. He is committed to listening to residents, standing up for their concerns, and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making.
Patrick believes in unity, respect, and action — working across communities and political lines to deliver the best outcomes for Huntingdon.
