My campaign is built around four priorities that matter deeply to local residents: special education, housing, good governance, and thriving businesses.

Special Education

Every child deserves the support they need to succeed. Too many families in our area struggle to access timely assessments, appropriate placements, and consistent support for children with special educational needs. I will push for increased local funding, better coordination between schools and services, and reduced waiting times for assessments. Parents should feel supported, not exhausted by the system.

Housing

Chelmsford North needs housing that is both affordable and appropriate. I support responsible development that includes genuinely affordable homes, protects green spaces, and invests in the infrastructure our growing community needs. Whether you're a first-time buyer, renter, or long-time resident, housing should be secure, fair, and sustainable.

Governance

Trust in leadership starts with transparency and accountability. I am committed to open decision-making, clear communication, and putting residents at the heart of every policy. Local people should have a real voice in shaping the future of their community, and I will work to ensure that voice is heard and respected.

Businesses and Local Economy

Small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of our local economy. I will advocate for reducing unnecessary barriers, supporting entrepreneurship, and ensuring our high streets remain vibrant and competitive. By working with local businesses, we can create jobs, boost growth, and keep Chelmsford North thriving.
