My bond with Thornton Heath is lifelong; from managing the after-school club at Winterbourne Girls School to my years at a local estate agency, I have always been deeply woven into the fabric of this neighborhood.
​Through my professional work as a property management Consultant, I witnessed the direct impact of the housing crisis daily, which drives my dedication to helping residents secure decent affordable homes. My commitment to service extends from volunteering for an adults' learning disability charity to supporting local entrepreneurship, such as the family-run hair salon on our High Street which also provides jobs for residents. I understand the challenges our local businesses face because I have been in the trenches with them. Thornton Heath boasts of vibrant businesses, voluntary sector, wonderful green spaces like Grange wood park and Whitehorse Meadow . I would like the opportunity to serve and be a visible, accessible representative, ensuring our high streets thrives, affordable and decent homes , our streets remain safe and clean, and our young people receive the opportunities they deserve.
