Statement to voters
Dear Fellow Resident,
It has been my privilege to serve as your Councillor for the Upper Meon Valley ward over the past four years.Full statement
Many of you know me well by now and know I have put my heart and soul into representing your interests and helping find solutions to local problems. I have greatly enjoyed working across the ward and would very much like to continue, seeking re-election, as well as stand for Hampshire County Council, in the Bishop’s Waltham Division.
For those residents less familiar with me, I am a science graduate with a 30 year business career, living locally in Bramdean with my wife and family. I am committed to using that experience to deliver practical solutions to the issues we all face - potholes, flooding, sewerage, speeding and noise, protecting our countryside and supporting our rural businesses while spending your council tax wisely.
I believe in practical action and when Bishop’s Waltham tip faced possible closure, I met with Cllr Nick Adams-King, leader of Hampshire County Council, to stress its importance, helping secure its future.
There are many challenges ahead, but I care deeply about our community and will continue working hard to make our area an even better place to live and work. I hope you will support me on 7th May.
If you would like to raise any issue, then please do get in touch.
With very best wishes
Neil
